The mission of the Savannah River Cancer Foundation
is to provide help to anyone affected by cancer in our communities,
the South Carolina counties of Aiken, Edgefield, Allendale and Barnwell,
and to promote the early detection and prevention of cancer.
The
Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in Aiken in 2003.
It operates
from tax-deductable monies received
through donations, grants and fundraisers.
All funds stay
in our communities
and are used for cancer
patient and family support,
as well as for promoting
the early detection and prevention of cancer.
We are a United Way of Aiken County agency.
