Emotional Support is available through our monthly CanHope Cancer
Support Group meetings. This group meets the third Wednesday of each month (except December) at 3:00 pm at Aiken's First
Baptist Church on Chesterfield Avenue, in the Parlor. It is a non-denominational but chaplain-facilitated group for
both men and women with any type of cancer, and also for their families and other caregivers. Call Chaplain Cathy Cole

Financial support is also available to cancer patients that meet designated criteria. If your
income is within 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, we may be able to help pay for your cancer-related medications
as well as transportation to cancer treatments and doctor appointments. Although we don’t place any restrictions
on where you obtain treatment, you must be a resident of one of the following four counties in South Carolina:
Aiken, Edgefield, Barnwell or Allendale.
